Set of chassis screws for vintage Vox amplifiers (1" or 3/4" washers)

from £10.00

Set of either five or six vintage-correct steel chassis screws for Vox amps with a choice of 1” or 3/4” washers.

These are the screws that hold the chassis to the slider board and will fit vintage JMI 1950s, 1960s and most 1970s AC50 and AC30 heads and amps, possibly others. Most amplifiers used five of these, a few used six (and some earlier or later examples used only four).

These are the correct 2BA thread cheesehead screws used on vintage Vox amps. Ideal for restoring vintage amps that have lost a few panel screws or fitting an ‘orphan’ chassis to a case.

These screws are carefully chosen so that they will not protrude significantly beyond the cage nuts and into the chassis but will bear on the whole of the cage nut thread. They come with sprung washers which can be used if required.

They can be supplied with the standard 3/4” washers or with larger 1” washers if required. If you are in doubt or your slider board has larger holes, choose the 1” ones.
