Purveyors of fine amplifiers and parts thereof
The Vintage Amporium is all about vintage guitar amplifiers. To own a classic amp is to own a piece of history yet well-maintained vintage amps also offer unparalleled classic tones and touch-sensitive playability allowing you to hone your own unique sound through practice, recording and performance. Better still, many are hand-wired so they are significantly easier to service and repair than their modern equivalents. Great care is taken to maintain originality, feel and sound, testing and replacing (only where necessary) any failed or failing components. The goal is always to retain the original character and sound of the amp.
As well as restoring and selling amps this is also home to a range of spares for restoring or maintaining vintage (and some modern) amps mostly JMI and Vox. Many spare parts were previously offered by North Coast Music which closed in 2024.
From time to time you will also find some carefully selected guitars on offers. These are usually high-end instruments that were too good to turn down and offered to customers at very competitive prices.
Everything on offer is serviced, set up and working just as it should but, for complete peace of mind, amps are also inspected by a well-established and highly qualified amp tech before being offered for sale and they will come with a brief inspection report.
