Lovely AC10 twin from between 1965 and 1967. These are wonderful sounding amps with a nice combination of EF86 and ECC83 channels and a very nice sounding tremolo. Reportedly Dick Denney’s favourite of his designs (which is something, given that he designed all the Vox classics!)
These amps are a lot more than simply scaled down AC30s although they do generate classic Vox chime at lower volume settings, blooming into sweet, compressed drive when pushed and all at less than ear-destroying volumes. The 2×10 format makes it perfect for home use, recording or moderate venues (where you can always mic it, anyway).
Condition
This is in superb internal and external condition, with its original Elac 10N/85 speakers in place. Internally, it has its original Parmeko transformers and has been kept in excellent working order (it was last PAT tested up to May 2025) with some replacement caps and resistors as needed. It will also come with its original dust cover, as shown, also in excellent condition.

You are welcome to play this amp at my base in Southampton, or to arrange a video call so that we can go through the amp.
You can collect the amp in person, or I can deliver personally to much of Southern England (rates will appear once your postcode and phone number are in the checkout form). Alternatively, I can ship this amp within the UK.
Overseas shipping is available on this amp - please contact me before ordering to confirm overseas shipping costs. The amp has a UK three-pin (earthed) lead and plug installed and the voltage selector is currently set to 245v.
For shipping, the valves will be removed and packed separately so you will need to re-install them after receiving the amp.
