Seymour Duncan Custom Shop "Phat staple" pickups, gold
A pair (neck and bridge) of Seymour Duncan Custom Shop “Phat staple” pickups in gold.
These are designed to emulate the original Gibson P-90 single coil pickup. They are a humbucker-sized P-90 Staple pickup with Alnico V magnet, which gives the smooth but tight tone associated with staple pickups.
These are used but in great condition, fully functional and packed in their original box and with plenty of pickup wire for easy installation (350mm + on each one) and the resistances test 9.2k (neck) and 9.5k (bridge).
Note that - while these are ‘humbucker sized’ pickups, they may require a little more depth to be added to the cavity depending you your guitar. They were previously fitted to a Gibson Custom Shop ‘59 Les Paul which had required a little depth to be added to the neck pickup cavity to accommodate that one, whereas the bridge pickup fitted into the existing cavity without any change needed.
