Pair of Crate-badged Eminence 16 ohm 12” Guitar Speakers
I have two Crate-badged Eminence 86-068-16 121293A, 50 watt 16 ohm speakers.
These are fantastic speakers with paper formers and they sound exceptional both clean and with overdrive. Both test flawlessly on a frequency sweep with signal generator and are cosmetically and functionally in excellent condition. One has the label peeling back very slightly (see the photos) but you might want to take the labels off anyway as they will then look nearly as expensive as they sound ;-)
These really are very well-regarded speakers (check them out on gear forums) which were used by Crate in both combo amps and cabs. This pair was removed from a Crate Vintage Club 50 amp (now converted to a more manageable 2x10 ). They will come in Eminence boxes, curiously, as I have a couple of those empty at the moment.
