Pair of 8Ω Celestion Alnico Blues in excellent+ condition, complete with original Vox wiring harness. Manufacured in 2007 and removed from an AC30 CC2X. The date codes on both are 9th November 2007, making these a same-day production pair.
The blue steel frames and magnet covers are in excellent shape with only a few minor marks and a bit of dust, The ribbed paper cones have “1 33 073” and “3 42 073” stamps. Original Vox wiring and a ¼-inch jack plug are attached (wired in series for 16Ω load). These are 100% working, the cones and spiders are undamaged, there is no rubbing or other issues and they sound fantastic, as you would expect.
This would be an ideal upgrade for a recent Vox AC30 CC if yours is fitted with greenbacks or similar but you prefer the classic alnico speakers or replacements if you have blown or damaged your original speakers. The harness has been left to make that an easy upgrade but these could also be re-wired to give 4Ω load in parallel, if desired.
