Incredible Hylight period (Dave Reeves/Harry Joyce) DR103 in outstanding condition.
This amp looks and sounds the business. Completely original except the filter caps which needed replacing (and have been replaced exactly as per the original layout) and in superb condition internally and externally. These are beautifully made and amazing sounding amps with crystal clear tone and massive headroom.
Note that this one is completely stock (except the filter caps) and so has no bias adjustment. It drives the power tubes quite hard (by design) which is all fine for the vintage Mullard tubes currently installed but could present issues in future if you want to use modern output valves. It could be modified for adjustable bias, if desired, so get in touch if you’re interested in this one.
Also available, I have a rare and amazing 4×12 HiWatt cab from 1974. No serial number plate, but it is ported at the base of the rear and contains original Fane purpleback speakers with whizzer cones. Almost certainly a super rare SE320 cab. If you are interested in purchasing that with this amp, drop me a line, otherwise this will be listed in coming weeks.
