Lovely early silverface Bassman 50 head - very clean, very original example. Great sounding amp with the benefit of the original multi-voltage transformer and discrete NFB mod.
This amp has a useful negative feedback mod that makes use of the redundant 3-way ground switch. This allows the amp to run with the original (stock) NFB, half or none at all expanding the range of sounds and touch sensitivity that it can deliver. As with all Bassman amps, this sounds great clean but even better as it starts to break up, which happens organically around 6-8 on the dial.
Fully restored with new filter caps etc., checked by my tech.
