Classic Fender tones in an easy-to-handle 5W combo
The '68 Custom reissues are extremely popular amps for those who want classic Fender sounds alongside some useful updates and mods. They look superb in ‘68 silverface livery and really deliver on vintage Fender sounds at a sensible price.
This is a single-channel amp with two 12AX7s and a single 6V6 output tube, controls for Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb depth, Vib Speed & Intensity.
This is great example of the little 5-Watt Vibro Champ that includes a classic Fender tremolo, superb authentic tube sound that can be driven at neighbour-friendly levels and a classic vintage spring reverb. Unlike the originals, this reissue has a larger 10" Celestion speaker that makes this an even better sounding amp.
This would be an ideal amp for a beginner - light, easy to dial in and keep to bedroom friendly volumes - or a perfect practice or recording amp that could also cope with coffee-shop gigs (or bigger venues if you mic it through the PA, of course).
This particular example is in essentially mint condition, with only very minor signs of ever being used. It comes with the smart fitted cover shown and it is even still in its original cardboard carton.
